This airport is within ashort drive to Los Cristianos and Las Americas, as well as being near to the Costa del Silencio and other popular resort areas on the island. Further up the coast from Las Americas are other popular resorts including Playa de San Juan and Los Gigantes, which gets its name from the massive cliffs that overlook it. The Spanish for The Giants is Los Gigantes.
